Taylor County Board of Supervisors
Financial Support of Renovations to the Lenox Toddler Pool

Whereas, the City of Lenox has created a plan for the modernization and enhancement of the existing
toddler pool and other improvements to the pool facility in Lenox; and

Whereas, the Toddler Pool Renovations serves all of Taylor County and is supported by many
residents throughout the county; and
Whereas, the project has been presented to the Taylor County Board of Supervisors for consideration
and financial participation; and
Whereas, significant money has been raised (about $300,000) from the City of Lenox, local
businesses, and many residents, and over 60% of the entire project is funded.

Whereas, a donation of about 1.5% of the project cost is a key component in the completion of the
project and will enable the City of Lenox to quality for a grant that will fill most of the
remaining funding gap.

Now, therefore, let it be resolved that the Taylor County Board of Supervisors approves the
following funding:

Fiscal Year 25-26: $5,000

Further, let it be resolved that the City of Lenox shall document progress of the project to full
funding from other sources and present annual invoices for the agreed upon funds.

Finally, let it be resolved that the chairman and auditor are authorized to execute all agreements
related to this resolution.
