OFFICAL PROCEEDINGS FOR
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday,
July 16, 2026. Supervisor Jack Beggs called the meeting to order at 9:06 a.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Wall, Fitzgerald and Beggs present. Also present, Auditor, Judy Henry, Engineer, Seth Sunderman and Corey Eberling, APEX.
Wall motioned to approve the agenda for today and minutes from July 9, 2026. Fitzgerald seconded, MC 3-0.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
Eberling said he met with Taylor County EMS and Fire Association on behalf of APEX.
COMMITTEE REPORT:
Fitzgerald and Sunderman attended the ATURA meeting; they reviewed projects other Counties are doing.
SECONDARY ROADS:
No utility permits. Engineer Sunderman reported they continue working on bridge projects and road maintenance. Also relayed the replacement truck will be delivered next week.
NEW BUSINESS:
Treasurer Dana Davis provided the FY26 Treasurers Annual Report. As of June 30, 2026, Taylor County had a cash balance of $212,063.56, checking $8,390,359.59, cd/savings $2,595,588.80, REAP/Consv $152,869.82, for a grand total of $11,350,881.77 in funds. Fitzgerald motioned to approve the FY26 Treasurers Annual Report. Wall seconded, MC 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
Culp, with maintenance, reported the sink and drain in the furnace room repaired and the VA would like a bulletin board hung.
The Board discussed items for the next meeting and claims against the County were approved.
Fitzgerald made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Wall seconded, MC 3-0.
Meeting adjourned.
