On July 30, 2026, the Taylor County Board of Supervisors officially passed Ordinance No. 40, establishing a temporary 12-month moratorium on new applications for data centers, solar energy systems, battery energy storage systems, and mineral rights developments.
Public Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors will hold three separate public meetings at the date, times and place set here.

An online survey has been started to gather public opinions about disasters and their impact on our community. Please click on the link in the document to complete the survey.
The Auditor’s office will be open on Saturday, May 30 from 8 AM to 4:30 PM for absentee voting.
The public test of voter equipment will be on May 27, 2026 at 10 am at the Courthouse.
