1. Call Meeting to Order, Pledge of Allegiance, Roll Call of Supervisors
2. Approval of Agenda and Minutes
3. Public Comments (limited to two minutes per person if they are not on the agenda. If public hearing comments must pertain to hearing topic).
4. Supervisor Committee Reports
5. Secondary Roads
a. Departmental updates, discussion and possible approval of utility permits and projects. (as applicable).
6. New Business:
a. Generator request for additional coverage in the Courthouse, possible approval.
b. Sheriff’s Office dispatch equipment discussion and possible approval.
c. Taylor County Sheriff Agreement/AFSCME Local 61 discussion and possible approval.
d. Employee Insurance Buyouts.
e. Taylor County Ambulance Director request for Credit Card, possible approval.
f. Taylor County Fair Board funds request discussion and possible approval.
g. Public Hearing for Temporary Moratorium on Acceptance, Processing and Approval of Applications for Data Centers, Solar Energy Systems, Battery Energy Storage System and Mineral Rights Development. 10:30 a.m.
h. New Server migration fee discussion and possible approval.
7. Old Business:
a. Discussion and possible approval of updates to maintenance projects of the Courthouse.
b. Elected Official and Departmental updates.
8. Approval of Claims and/or Handwritten Warrants.
9. Discuss and start agenda items for the next meeting.

The Taylor County Board of Supervisors meets regularly on Thursdays beginning at 9:00 a.m. All meetings are open to the public unless, for purposes described in the Code of Iowa chapter 21, a closed meeting is necessary or advisable to protect the interests of individuals or the County. All people are invited to take an active role in Taylor County government. *Agenda appointments will need to be scheduled through the Taylor County Auditor’s Office. The deadline for new appointments is 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the meeting.
