January 20, 2026 Meeting Minutes

PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in special session at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
January 20, 2026, to canvass the election results. Supervisor Jack Beggs called the meeting to order at 9:00 a m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Fitzgerald and Beggs present. Also present, Auditor Judy Henry, IT Josh Good, Lincoln Wall, Rob Welch with JCG Land Services, Corey Eberling with Apex and Nicki Lock with Bedford Times Press,

Fitzgerald made a motion to approve the agenda for today and the minutes from January 16, 2026, meeting, Beggs seconded, MC 2-0.

COMMITTEE REPORT:
Fitzgerald attended the Crossroads meeting.

PUBLIC COMMENT:
Eberling and Welch gave Wall a brief description of the services they provide pertaining to the windmill projects.

NEW BUSINESS:
The Board canvassed the Special Election District #2 Supervisor results. Fitzgerlad motioned to approve the election canvass results: Lincoln Wall received 22 votes, scatterings 1. Beggs seconded, MC 2-0. Wall was sworn in as the Taylor County District #2 Supervisor.

The Board discussed items for the next meeting.

Wall made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Fitzgerald seconded, MC 3-0.
Meeting adjourned.
