PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday,
December 10, 2025. Supervisor Jack Beggs called the meeting to order at 9:05 a m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Fitzgerald and Beggs present. Also present, Auditor Judy Henry, Engineer Seth Sunderman and Adam Chadwick with United Fiber.
Fitzgerald made a motion to approve the agenda for today and the minutes from the December 4, 2025, meeting. Beggs seconded, MC 2-0.
COMMITTEE REPORT:
None
PUBLIC COMMENT:
None
SECONDARY ROAD REPORT:
No utility permits. Engineer Sunderman requested to amend the County Five Year Plan by moving projects in Marshall 13 and Washington 23 from Farm to Market to HBP Federal Aid-Roads. Fitzgerald motioned to approve the CFYP changes. Beggs seconded, MC 2-0. Sunderman reported on road conditions.
Julie Robinson joined the meeting at 9:25.
NEW BUSINESS:
Adam Chadwick, United Fiber, reviewed quotes for phone and internet services they could provide.
OLD BUSINESS:
The Board approved claims to be paid and discussed items for the next meeting.
Fitzgerald made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Beggs seconded, MC 2-0.
Meeting adjourned.
