PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday,
September 4, 2025. Supervisor Jack Beggs called the meeting to order at 9:05 a m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Watson, Fitzgerald, and Beggs present. Also present, Auditor Judy Henry, Engineer Seth Sunderman, Shari Morris and Shellia Culp.
Watson made a motion to approve the agenda for today and the minutes from the August 28, 2025, meeting. Fitzgerald seconded, MC 3-0.
COMMITTEE REPORT:
None
PUBLIC COMMENT:
Shari Morris, JCG Land Services, shared they are preparing for an upcoming landowner meeting at Deer Ridge.
SECONDARY ROAD REPORT:
No utility permits. Sunderman discussed the coming meeting with Hungry Canyons. He will be presenting policy changes in CDL reimbursement and starting research on preparing a battery storage ordinance.
NEW BUSINESS:
Shellia Culp presented a quote for updating equipment for the Team Alert System for the Courthouse.
OLD BUSINESS:
Sheilla Culp updated the Board on Courthouse upkeep.
The Board approved claims to be paid and discussed items for the next meeting.
Watson made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Fitzgerald seconded, MC 3-0.
Meeting adjourned.
