PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday,
August 6, 2025. Supervisor Jack Beggs called the meeting to order at 9:02 a m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Watson, Fitzgerald, and Beggs present. Also present, Deputy Auditor Lindsay Sonksen and Shari Morris.
Watson made a motion to approve the agenda for today. Fitzgerald second, MC 3-0.

SECONDARY ROAD REPORT:
No report.
NEW BUSINESS:
Discussed an idea to streamline approving Homestead/Military/AgLand/Family Farm applications.
OLD BUSINESS:
Sheilla Culp entered the meeting. No updates given
Sonksen updated the board on Jeremy Rounds from SICOG starting the search for grants for a new generator.
The Board approved claims to be paid and discussed items for the next meeting.
Fitzgerald made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Watson seconded, MC 3-0.
