PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
June 24, 2025. Supervisor Jack Beggs called the meeting to order at 9:00 a m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Fitzgerald, Watson, and Beggs present. Also present, Auditor Judy Henry.
Watson made a motion to approve the agenda for today and minutes from the June 19, 2025, meeting. Fitzgerald second, MC 3-0.
COMMITTEE REPORT:
Fitzgerald attended the Crossroads meeting.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
None
SECONDARY ROAD REPORT:
Henry presented Resolution 2025-20, Placement of Speed limit Sign on south side of Cook St in Bedford. The speed zone begins at Illinois Street, then runs west to Randolph Street. Watson made a motion to approve Resolution 2025-20. Fitzgerald seconded, MC 3-0.
NEW BUSINESS:
The Board discussed and approved Employee Insurance Buyouts. Henry presented an Amended Service Contract Agreement with Iowa Negations & Consulting Services. The Board tabled the agreement.
OLD BUSINESS:
Culp reported on continued projects and upkeep of the Courthouse
The Board approved claims to be paid and discussed items for the next meeting.
Watson made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Fitzgerald seconded, MC 3-0. Meeting adjourned.
