PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday,
October 30, 2025. Supervisor Jack Beggs called the meeting to order at 9:07 a m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Watson, Fitzgerald, and Beggs present. Also present, Auditor Judy Henry, Engineer Seth Sunderman, and IT, Josh Good.
Fitzgerald made a motion to approve the agenda for today and the minutes from the October 23, 2025, meeting. Watson seconded, MC 3-0.
COMMITTEE REPORT:
Fitzgerald attended the Crossroads meeting.
Jack attended the SICOG meeting.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
None
SECONDARY ROAD REPORT:
No utility permits. Engineer Sunderman presented Resolution 2026-09; BRS-C087(76)—60-87 Holt 23 bridge project. Watson made a motion to approve 2026-09 allowing Engineer Seth Sunderman signing authority for the Holt 23 bridge project and awards Dixon Construction Co. bid amount of $1,246,643.15. Fitzgerald seconded, MC 3-0.
NEW BUSINESS:
Watson made a motion to approve the Equipment Disposal forms for inventory clean up. Fitzgerald seconded, MC 3-0. Snow Bids were moved to the November 6th meeting. Weed Commissioner Raymond Olney discussed his annual report with the Supervisors.
At 11:00 a.m. Fitzgerald motioned to open the Public Meeting for the road vacate in Dallas 10. Watson seconded, MC 3-0. There were no public comments. Fitzgerald motioned to close the public meeting. Watson seconded, MC 3-0. Fitzgerald motioned to approve 2026-10, to vacate the Dallas 10 road. Watson seconded, MC 3-0.
Beggs left the Board meeting.
OLD BUSINESS:
Shellia Culp discussed the upkeep of the Courthouse.

The Board approved claims to be paid and discussed items for the next meeting.
Fitzgerald made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Watson seconded, MC 2-0.
