PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday,
February 17, 2026. Supervisor Jack Beggs called the meeting to order at 9:10 a.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Beggs and Fitzgerald present. Also present, Auditor Judy Henry, Engineer Seth Sunderman, IT Josh Good and IT Amanda Biddenback.
Fitzgerald made a motion to approve the agenda for today and the minutes from the February 5 and February 12, 2026, meetings. Beggs seconded, MC 2-0.
COMMITTEE REPORT:
Fitzgerald attended the Crossroads meeting.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
None
SECONDARY ROADS:
No permits. Sunderman gave an update on the Bridge projects.
NEW BUSINESS:
Employee Buyout Forms were signed by the Board of Supervisors. Good and Biddenback presented the IT budget. Fitzgerald made a motion to approve Taylor County Resolution No. 2026-20, Procurement Policies and Procedures which was updated on February 10, 2026. Beggs seconded the motion, MC 2-0. Scotty Eischeid, Rick Sprague and Paul Ackley representing Taylor County Soil and Water District presented their FY27 funding request. Eischeid reported they continue work on the Blockton Watershed overflow upgrades. Ambulance Director Jan Beach-Sickles presented the ambulance budget. Economic Development funding request was moved to February 26, 2026.
OLD BUSINESS:
Culp, Maintenance, reported on the progress with the west lower-level remodel.
The Board discussed items for the next meeting.
Fitzgerald made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Beggs seconded, MC 2-0.
Meeting adjourned.
