Attention: Lenox Community School District Residents

Taylor County property owners within the Lenox Community School District should have recently received their 2025-2026 property tax statements.  It has been discovered that a computer application error occurred at the county level when these statements were generated.  Therefore, the property tax statements are incorrect.  Taylor County is in the process of correcting this error and will re-issue 2025-2026 property tax statements.  It is recommended that patrons do not pay their current Taylor County property taxes until after the new statement is received.  However, if you have already paid, the County Treasurer will make an adjustment on your March tax liability.  Please contact the Taylor County Auditor’s or Treasurer’s Office if you have any questions.
