## MEETING MINUTES

 Date: September 24, 2026
Time: 9:00 am
Place: 405 Jefferson St. Bedford IA 50833

OFFICAL PROCEEDINGS FOR
TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on September 24, 2026. Supervisor Jack Beggs called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Fitzgerald, Wall and Beggs present.
Also in attendance: Judy Henry, Seth Sunderman, Robert Welch, Shellia Culp and BeLinda Ogle.

Fitzgerald motioned to approve the agenda for today and minutes from September 17, 2026. Wall seconded, MC 3-0.

PUBLIC COMMENT:
None

COMMITTEE REPORT:
Fitzgerald attended the regular meeting for MATURA.

SECONDARY ROADS:
No utility permits to report. Sunderman stated they continue patch work as the rain has slowed project operations down.
NEW BUSINESS:
Ogle reported the Safety Committee met to update the Taylor County Safety Manual. She presented the Manual and updated IMWCA, OSHA, Accident, Return to Work and Status Forms. Ogle will send the updated manual to each Department for employees to review. Wall motioned to approve the updated Taylor County Safety Manual. Fitzgerald seconded, MC 3-0.
Employee Insurance Buyout forms were signed by the Board.

OLD BUSINESS:
Culp relayed the Courthouse clock needed some work; she will make some calls to have it checked out. She also worked on a light fixture in server room until new lighting is installed.

Claims were approved against the county; discussion was held on the next meeting’s agenda.

Meeting Days for October; 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.

Fitzgerald made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Wall seconded, MC 3-0.

Meeting adjourned.

The Board of Supervisors approve these unofficial minutes to be published in the local newspapers and upon approval in the Taylor County Board of Supervisors Minute Book as official minutes:
