## MEETING MINUTES

 Date: September 15, 2026
Time: 9:00 am
Place: 405 Jefferson St. Bedford IA 50833

     OFFICAL PROCEEDINGS FOR
     TAYLOR COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
      Special Session 

The Taylor County Board of Supervisors met in special session on September 15, 2026. Supervisor Jack Beggs called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.  The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisor roll call: Fitzgerald and Beggs present, Wall absent.   Auditor Judy Henry was also in attendance.

Fitzgerald motioned to approve the agenda for today. Beggs seconded, MC 2-0.  

PUBLIC COMMENT: 
None

NEW BUSINESS:
The canvass for the Clarinda School Special Election was held. All votes matched as reported to the Secretary of States Office.
Results:
Precinct #5 New Market    Yes-19  No-70
Absentee   Yes-1  No-3
Total number of votes was 93.
Fitzgerald made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Beggs seconded, MC 2-0. 
Meeting adjourned.

The Board of Supervisors approve these unofficial minutes to be published in the local newspapers and upon approval in the Taylor County Board of Supervisors Minute Book as official minutes:
