1. Call Meeting to Order, Pledge of Allegiance, Roll Call of Supervisors
2. Approval of Agenda and Minutes
3. Public Comments (limited to two minutes per person if not on the agenda)
4. Committee Reports (if applicable)
5. Claim Review
   a. 8:40 – Review and possibly approve claims to be paid
6. Secondary Roads
   a. 9:15 – Secondary Roads update and possible approval of utility permits (as applicable)
   b. 9:20 – Discuss and potentially approve Taylor Co. participation in the All-Systems Permit
   c. 9:25 – Discuss and potentially approve holidays for 2023 for Secondary Roads
7. New Business
   a. 9:30 – Virtual presentation from ACB and TCP regarding the “Connect Center”
   b. 10:00 – Discuss and possibly approve quote for duct cleaning in the Courthouse basement
   c. 10:10 – Discuss and possibly approve the transfer of a phone line under contract to IT
   d. 10:20 – Discuss and possibly approve removal of hazardous materials and old equipment
   e. 10:35 – Discuss and possibly approve sale or scrapping of broken generator for EMA
   f. 10:45 – Discuss and possibly make a decision on plans for 203 Main Street
   g. 11:00 – Discuss and possibly approve Resolution 2023-08 for Hazard Mitigation Plan
   h. 11:15 – Discuss and possibly approve Treasurer’s Semi-Annual Report
   i. 11:30 – Discuss and possibly approve EMA building improvements required by code
8. Discuss and start agenda items for next meeting
9. Adjournment

The Taylor County Board of Supervisors meet regularly on Thursdays beginning at 9:00 a.m. All meetings are open to the public unless, for purposes described in Code of Iowa chapter 21, a closed meeting is necessary or advisable to protect the interests of individuals or the county. All persons are invited to take an active role in Taylor County government.
\*Agenda appointments will need to be scheduled through the Taylor County Auditor’s Office. The deadline for new appointments is 4:00 p.m. on the Tuesday prior to the meeting.
